Join us at the Estuarium on Saturday, July 15th from 2-3:30pm to learn all about sharks and watch a live shark dissection!

Sandy Zeiner is a Shellfish and Enforcement Policy Analyst at Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission. She will share fascinating info from ancient sharks to the present day sharks that roam Puget Sound. Learn about where they live, what they eat, and how their unique bodies function. Sandy will finish up by dissecting a real shark from Puget Sound!
During the dissection visitors will get a chance to see and touch the insides of a local shark – including discovering what their last meal was!

Standard admission costs apply: $8/family, $5/individuals, $3/youth (18 and under), Free with EBT

The Estuarium’s Summer Shark Spree is a rotating exhibit featuring the sharks of Puget Sound! Every weekend in July and August, real shark tails and jaws from the WA Department of Fish & Wildlife will be on display at the Estuarium.

Join us throughout the summer for JAWSOME shark education and activities, arts & crafts, talks by local shark experts and shark dissections!
