Secret Lives of Owls

Scientist and nature writer Leigh Calvez pursued eleven different owl species of the Pacific Northwest for her book “The Hidden Lives of Owls: The Science and Spirit of Nature’s Most Elusive Birds.” Calvez makes the science entertaining and accessible through the stories of the people who are obsessed with these birds and her own avian adventures in the field. This program will occur after regular library hours and no other services will be available.
