Science Café: Ocean Exploration aboard E/V Nautilus

Join us for a presentation by marine biologist Mugdha Flores about her experiences exploring the deep sea aboard Exploration Vessel Nautilus! Topics will include: the technology that enables deep-sea exploration, what we see on the sea floor, anthropogenic threats such as deep-sea mining and marine debris, and current efforts to conserve and protect deep-sea habitats.
