School Garden Volunteer Work Party

Join Thurston County Food Bank and Thurston CD for a volunteer work party at the Lydia Hawk Elementary school garden! Help maintain and improve this important space so that it can continue to be a place of valuable, hands-on education and homegrown food for students in your community! Volunteer the whole day, or for however long you’re able. Morning and afternoon sessions will have different tasks.

-Tools and gloves will be provided.
-Drinks and snacks will be available.
-We’ll have a light lunch at 12:00 p.m. If you plan on volunteering the whole day, consider bringing a full lunch.
