Saucing It Up at Dino’s Cafe

The little, old grocery building on Rogers Street on Olympia’s west side is home to a new restaurant named for the street’s historical name. Joel Henderson, Dino’s Café’s chef, visits BSC and explores the world of sauces. His menu begins with a smooth and velvety Mushroom Veloute Soup and Warm, Wilted Spinach Salad. His appetizer course is Warm goat Cheese with Tomato Sauce, the entrée is Salmon or Grilled Polenta with Asparagus and Hollandaise Sauce and dessert is Rich Bread Pudding with Caramel Sauce.
