A man and woman meet by chance at a romantic inn on the northern California coast.  Although both are married to others, they find themselves in the same bed the next morning questioning how this could have happened.  Neither of them wants to leave their spouses. So they hit on a novel arrangement:  every year on the same weekend they’ll stay at the same inn in the same room together.   It’s an arrangement that continues for 25 years through laughter and tragedy, good times and bad.
