Lacey Timberland Library presents Reptile Man, Scott Petersen, 6:30-7:30 p.m., July 2 for all ages. LOCATION: Thomas Huntamer Park, 618 Woodland Square Loop SE, Lacey. See and learn about 15 exotic reptiles from around the world. Scott brings in a variety of reptiles, turtles, an iguana, an alligator and numerous types of snakes. As a zoologist and educator, Scott shows each animal and talks about their individual importance to the balance of nature. Certain animals are available for petting following the performance. All dangerous snakes have been surgically devenomized. This program is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Lacey Library and the Lacey Parks and Recreation Department.
