Real Estate Professional Classes

SEEC LLC School of Green Real Estate is hosting two upcoming workshops to help real estate brokers and appraisers evaluate and identify high-performance green features in homes. These workshops, sponsored by Thurston Energy and Olympia Federal Savings, will provide attendees with information to enhance their knowledge of green building, and provide value-added services to their clients. Attendees will learn:

• How the Northwest MLS has beefed up their searchable green fields and added a new supplement that describes high-performance features of homes
• How to visually identify aspects of green homes to increase their salability
• The impact that green features have on the valuation of homes

Workshop participants will receive continuing education credits, up to seven clock hours, for attending these classes. The four-part series is approved by NAR’s Green Resource Council as alternative credit towards their Green designation. Participants will also receive a copy of the MLS Green Features Field Guide. The cost for both classes is only $35.
