Preparing for Environmental Lobby Day!

We’ve got a lot planned for our first public chapter meeting of 2020! All ages welcome!
The Washington State legislators are back in session and so are some bills relevant to Surfrider’s mission. We’ll talk about what they are and their impact. We’ll then write to our perspective legislators about the importance of passing these common-sense plastic pollution reduction policies. And in honor of The Reusable Bag Bill (SB 5323), why not throw in a bag-making party too? Got any old t-shirts you don’t wear, but don’t want to throw away? Bring them and we’ll show you how to make them into reusable bags. Also, while we meet, support our Ocean Friendly Restaurant, 3 Magnets, by enjoying a meal or drink.
