“PoetryMusic” is the latest project of jazz artists Chris Lee and Colleen O’Brien.
It is rooted in a centuries-old tradition – original music composed for beloved poetry, turning spoke word into song. “PoetryMusic” adds visual images to the tradition, creating an exquisite, multi-media experience. Lee and O’Brien choose lyrics from poets such as Robert Frost, Jack Kerouac, Shakespeare and Maya Angelou.
