Come join us for some pirate-themed fun and benefit a great cause, at the same time.
On July 30, one of our fellow pirates lost his battle to Defuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), a rare form of brain cancer that today has no cure. His name was Ethan Tacheny and he was four years old.
We are banding together in his name to raise awareness about the disease, and to raise money for his family and for the foundations that are trying to find a cure. We want to honor his memory with the thing he loved most – pirates!
To add to the authentic experience, the crew of the Emerald Rose (the B.O.O.M. Pirates) will be on hand to sing sea shanties, sword fight, give us some historical education about privateering, have story-time for children and play games.
