This Earth Day, the PARC Foundation along with area Lions Clubs, is partnering with local parks departments to host the annual Earth Day Volunteer Event & Student Challenge. This is where schools recruit student volunteers to perform park cleanup projects around our community for a chance to win $500 for their school! This is a fantastic way to earn those community service/volunteer hours for graduation. So assemble your teams and prepare to get your hands dirty sprucing up our parks just in time for summer!
