Join the Olympia Symphony on Sunday, July 28 on the lawn of Olympia’s Capitol Campus, for a fun (free!) summer evening of classical, popular, and patriotic favorites. Bring a blanket, lawn chairs, picnic food, and your friends! You will hear highlights from Season 66: Highways & Byways, “Themes from 007,” “A Salute to the Big Apple,” and much more. There will be a special appearance by The Bridge Music Project, performing two songs with members of the OSO from a recently-recorded CD. The Bridge Music Project, an Olympia nonprofit, teaches young people to express themselves through music and gives them the opportunity to be heard. AND…Mayor Cheryl Selby will be our guest conductor, leading the orchestra in “The Stars and Stripes Forever!” See you on July 28!
