Back by popular demand, thru hiker and Olympia Mountaineer Michael Walther will return to share photos and stories from his latest thru hike on the Pacific Northwest Trail. The rugged and infrequently traveled PNT is a 1200 mile hiking route through Glacier National Park in Montana to Washington’s Olympic Coast. Along the way, the PNT crosses three national parks, seven national forests, two other national scenic trails, and a ferry. Come explore the gems of our beautiful home state- from popular trails you have probably hiked to small towns and peaks you’ve never heard of, and start dreaming up your next adventure in the wilds of the Pacific Northwest.

Doors open at 5:30 pm, potluck dinner starts promptly at 6:00PM. You can grab a hot drink, check out our Mountaineer library, audiovisual presentation , or pick up membership, activities and class information. Branch announcements are at 6:45 and our outstanding Adventure Speaker Series starts promptly at 7pm.
