It’s the 2018 Olympia Comics Festival, the Northwest’s longest-running alternative comics event! Come meet and greet and be dazzled by many talented folks eager to show you their contributions to the sequential art form!
11 am – 4 pm – Cartoonists Expo at Olympia Center (222 Columbia St NW) – Come see many dozens of talented artists display their wares for your perusal and purchase! FREE!
5 – 7 pm – Stage Show at Capitol Theater (206 5th Ave) – A variety/talk show format including various presentations sure to dazzle and entertain, all focused on the theme of our beloved sequential artform. $6 suggested donation.
7 – 8:30 pm – Guests Of Honor Book Signings at Danger Room (201 W 4th Ave) – Come meet and greet our Guests Of Honor, and get your books signed and possibly even sketched in!
Our first confirmed Guest Of Honor for 2018 is the bizarrely delightful Farel Dalrymple, creator of The Wrenchies, It Will All Hurt, Pop Gun War, artist of Prophet, Caper, Omega the Unknown, and contributor to Island, among his many wonderful comics works!
