Bio
Kim Adelson, Board Member of the Black Hills Audubon Society, regularly writes a column on climate change for The Echo, BHAS’ monthly e-newsletter. Kim has an M.A. in evolutionary biology and a doctorate in psychology and was a college professor for more than 30 years. She got the “birding bug” about 25 years ago, when she and her husband decided to turn hikes into treasure hunts. Kim moved to Washington 6 years ago, fulfilling a life-long dream to do so. She is passionate about preserving our beautiful habitat and the wildlife in contains.
