Nursing in the Park!

Our birth center recently achieved Gold Level standing with Breastfeeding Friendly Washington and the Washington State Department of Health! At noon we will have a plaque presentation by Dr. Kathy Lofy, State Health Officer and Chief Science Officer for Washington State! Eat cupcakes and drink lemonade, Play at the adjacent playground, Support breastfeeding and your community! The Milky Way Movie will be playing inside the Harbor House for those wishing to be out of the sun.

August is Breastfeeding Awareness Month. We are envisioning the lawn filled with parents and nursing babies, and children running about. Bring a blanket, a picnic lunch and come have fun with us!
