FREE online workshop!
Weed control is an important part of any garden. Weeds use up the water and fertilizer intended for your plants and tend to be the most time-consuming issue to deal with in the garden. We’ll discuss the roles that soil chemistry and soil structure play in the types of weeds that flourish, and focus on ways to change the chemistry and how to change the soil structure to change the weeds. We’ll discuss weed prevention using low-cost tools like mulches and plant spacing to crowd them out. We’ll also consider the pros and cons of various weed barriers and discuss our favorite weeding tools.
Registered participants will receive a link to join via GoToMeeting prior to the event.
