National Alliance for Mental Illness Family & Friends – Community Mental Health Support

National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) Family & Friends is a 90-minute seminar that informs and supports people who have loved ones with a mental health condition. Participants learn about diagnoses, treatment, recovery, communication strategies, crisis preparation and NAMI resources. Seminar leaders have personal experience with mental health conditions in their families.

This event is publicized and coordinated by South Sound Lutheran and Episcopal churches. However, this is not a religious event; this is a community education event on a topic that impacts people everywhere. Everyone is invited.
