Nathaniel Talbot and Benji Nagel w/ Strawhat

Whidbey Island songwriter, poet and fingerstyle guitar wiz, Nathaniel Talbot, will be teaming up with Central Oregon’s Benji Nagel on dobro for a night of acoustic string theory. These two have made a name for themselves in the Northwest folk scene, playing stages at Sisters Folk Fest, String Summit, Wildwood Festival, NW Folklife and more. Both organic farmers, Talbot and Nagel’s music has dirt under its fingernails, the product of decades of hard work and crafting – retuning, replanting, and retelling. The result is true American roots music that combines the soulful edge of tradition with the Pacific Northwest’s legacy of freedom and innovation.
