Join us as Woodland Trail Greenway Association and Creekside Conservancy hosts a benefit at the Monarch Art Center and Sculpture Park.   We have lots of fun things planned on that day, such as a raffle, an art auction, music, food, prizes, art demos, cake and ice cream and much more.  Bring your family, friends, neighbors and enjoy the interactive sculptures, some new art for auction and enjoy blues music from “The Lumen” and The Oly Mountain Boys.    Heavenly Hog will be there providing some tasty BBQ with beer, wine and other non-alcoholic drinks available.   It’s a great bike ride on the Chehalis Western Trail, and there is free parking

This benefit is to be able to re-open the park and eventually build a trailhead on the Chehalis Western Trail that runs in front of the park.  Providing this trailhead will allow a rest area between Tenino and Rainier, which is 17 miles of trail with no real place to get water or take a bathroom break.

Art Auction items can be viewed at www.monarchartcenter.com.   Biding on these items will be open until October 3, 2014 at 4 pm.    These items will also be on display in the gallery at Monarch Art Center.
