All day, free Skill Share for those experiencing homelessness and poverty. Everyone is welcome. There will be 3 hot meals served, free child entertainment for parents, free winter gear and survival items, plus 10 workshops featuring various topics with some resource tables from organizations that serve this audience. Put on by Americorps members
8:00-8:30 a.m. Public and Alternative Transportation – Intercity Transit
8:30-10:30 – We will be transporting folks to Priest Point Park to have our Urban Foraging workshop.
10:30-12:00 – Cooking and Eating on a Budget/Nutrition-Thurston County Food Bank. We will be providing a chili lunch with fruit parfait.
12:00-1:00-Survival Skills and First Aid – Wolf College
1:00-2:00 – Urban Camping and Gear
2:00-3:00-Yoga and Mindfulness-Evergreen State College Yoga Collective
3:00-4:00- Financial Literacy, Budgeting, and Bill Management – Enterprise for Equity
4:00-5:00 – How to Live as Healthy as Possible Despite Poverty or Addiction with Blood Pressure Checks – Olympia Free Clinic and Evergreen Treatment Services
