Team up with the Little Red Schoolhouse and Mixx96 to raise money and supplies to benefit local low-income students in Thurston County. Bring in your cash donations, school supplies, new underwear and socks, and/or a new or clean, gently used coat.
Announcers will be on the street broadcasting live all day, soliciting donations & encouraging people to drop by. When your group brings in their donation, they can be mentioned on the radio for free.
Last year it cost Little Red Schoolhouse $13.91 to supply one child with a backpack, school supplies, socks, and underwear. If students are to consider education important, we as a community need to assist them with the tools to succeed. By providing basic school supplies, students are better prepared to concentrate on their school.
