Masterworks Choral Ensemble (MCE) presents “Sing for the Cure: a Proclamation of Hope” at 7:30pm at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts. MCE will be joined by actors from Olympia Family Theater who will play “speak” for the individuals represented in each movement including a woman facing diagnosis, her community, her partner, her child, her sister, her mother and also for her humor and hopes.
The music and words convey a powerful message about the hardships, trials, and hope a person with cancer may have. This moving concert presents a journey of one woman through breast cancer, but is relevant to all people faced with the first diagnosis and beginning a journey filled with fear, despair, sadness, humor, inspiration, and hope through faith!
