The City of Olympia and Stream Team are gearing up to host a work party in recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Lend a hand planting willows and Oregon ash as part of a wetland restoration project in Mission Creek Nature Park. Help enhance the riparian habitat for wildlife through stewarding this beautiful natural space. All ages are welcome to participate.

For all work parties, please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes or boots that can get wet and muddy. Youth under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult and all youth under 18 years must have a signed Waiver and Medical Alert or have a parents’ signature on the sign-in roster at the project work site.
