Mala is the Sanskrit word for what we in the West would call a rosary, a string of beads used to count prayers or mantra recitations. This Saturday we have a special opportunity to learn how to make Malas according to traditional Buddhist techniques.
we have the opportunity to enjoy crafting some of these holy objects while enjoying the company of each other. You can also bring Malas to repair or just come check out the center and learn what Kadampa Buddhism is about. This fun workshop is recommended for anyone who wishes to get some instruction on how to make this indispensable tool for benefiting others and ourselves. Everyone is Welcome
