Announcing the next free monthly local history talk at the historic Schmidt House in Tumwater presented in cooperation with the City of Tumwater, at noon on Thursday, March 24 featuring curator Karen Johnson and public history manager Don Trosper highlighting some of the many discoveries recently found in the rich archives of the foundation in an illustrated presentation titled “New Treasures from the Schmidt House Archives”.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. for the one-hour noon-time talk and seating is limited for this popular series: first-come, first-seated. Doors will be closed as the seats are filled to capacity.
