As part of the Little Red Schoolhouse Project, KXXO Mixx 96.1 is holding a School Supplies and Cash Drive Friday, August 9 from 6 A.M.-6 P.M. Drop by their live broadcast at the corner of State and Washington in downtown Olympia with school supplies (such as lined paper, 3-ring binders, rulers, markers, child-size scissors, pencils, and smaller backpacks), coats or new socks and underwear (particularly boxer briefs!), or cash to buy calculators, backpacks, and school supplies in bulk.
Heritage Bank will match the first $2,500 donated! Donate cash and see your donation double! Olympia Orthopaedics, Evergreen Credit Union, Althauser Rayan Abbarno, and Moerke and Sons Pump & Drilling will match further contributions up to $1,000.

Supplies, backpacks, and socks and underwear will be distributed FREE to all Thurston County families in need at Komachin Middle School, 3650 College St. SE, Lacey (IT route #64) from 8 A.M. to 6 P.M. Thursday, August 15.
