With spring on its way, that means just one thing: birds. Adrian Wolf, a CNLM conservation biologist, will discuss the Monitoring Avian Productivity and Survivorship (MAPS) program through CNLM as well as the various conservation efforts around three avian species: the Western Bluebird, Vesper Sparrow, and the Streaked Horned Lark, a federally-listed endangered species.  CNLM and its staff work with a variety of partners to enhance and restore habitat for these native species.  Come learn how you can help.

Afterwards, join us for a few hours on the prairie at Glacial Heritage Preserve, a short drive from Shotwell’s Landing Nursery.  Please bring a packed lunch, plenty of water, and work gloves.
