John Stowell & Anandi Gefroh

Acclaimed jazz guitarist John Stowell will be joined by jazz vocalist Anandi Gefroh at Traditions on Saturday, 7/4/2016. Stowell is a unique jazz guitarist and a true original. He began his successful career in the early 1970s and continues to tour, record and perform extensively both as a solo act and with numerous well-known jazz luminaries such as Milt Jackson, Lionel Hampton, Art Farmer, Conte Condoli, Herb Ellis, Bill Watrous, Mundell Lowe, Paul Horn, Larry Coryell, Dave Liebman and many others. A beloved figure on the international jazz scene, in September of 2011 Stowell visited Estonia, the 20th country in which he has performed since going on the road. Traveling the globe from Argentina to Switzerland, California to New York, Russia to Ireland, he continues to thrill audiences world wide with his masterful skill. “John Stowell plays jazz, but he doesn’t use any of the cliches; he has an incredible originality.
