It’s the largest and best known Irish dance troupe in the Pacific Northwest, and unless you speak Irish, may have the toughest name to pronounce. Scoil Rince Slieveloughane, or the SRS Dance Company, will cast their magic at the Tumwater Timberland Library, Saturday, March 14 from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.

Begun in 1997, the troupe has performed with The Seattle Theatre Group and with bands such as Magical Strings, Slainte and the Burren Boys.  Wherever they go, audiences delight in the lively and beautifully choreographed dances – both traditional and modern.

In addition to performance, the company runs dance studios from Monroe to Olympia, teaching students of all ages and from beginners through championship levels.  SRS trains competitive and performance dancers, as well as those who simply love to dance.
