Homes First, the local non-profit that has owned, managed and leased affordable rental housing in Thurston County since 1990, recently launched its Affordable Housing Fund offering a unique opportunity for the public to invest in the organization’s future properties while earning a return on their investment.
Homes First says that it is the first “social impact investment initiative” (commercial solutions that address social challenges) in the South Puget Sound, expanding the organization’s current ability to provide safe and healthy housing for low-income families, individuals and those with special needs in our communities.
Those interested in learning more about this investment opportunity are invited to either of two presentations about the Affordable Housing Fund on December 1, 2016, one at noon and the other at 6 pm at the South Puget Sound Community College Lacey campus at 4220 6th Ave SE, Lacey, WA.
