Lacey MakerSpace is sponsoring an Introduction to 3D Printing in partnership with Saint Martin’s University School of Engineering. The class is an introductory orientation to 3D printing.
Participants will learn how to download a design from a website, how to make basic customizations in a Computer Assisted Design (CAD) program, how to format for recognition by the printer, and how to print the design.
Participants will either receive their object at the end of class or a bit later, depending the number of participants and the printing time. They will also receive a short overview of the Lacey MakerSpace concept and vision.
