Thurston Energy, in partnership with Northwest EcoBuilding Guild and a team of local stakeholders, will sponsor a Vision2Action community symposium, Healthy Energy Improvements for Rental Homes, on Thursday, February 13, from noon – 4:30 at Thurston County Public Health & Social Services, 412 Lilly Road NE, Olympia WA. Steve Abercrombie, President of the South Sound Chapter of the Northwest EcoBuilding Guild will be the opening speaker.

The symposium will feature two discussion panels of local experts, including: Wayne Ballew, Puget Sound Energy; Ramsey Zimmerman, Thurston Energy; Johnny Cooley, Echo Energy; Shelley Westall, a private Landlord; and Andrew Barkis, Hometown Property Management. The presentations will set the stage for lively, generative “world café” breakout sessions to explore the business case and forge partnerships to empower landlords and renters to make improvements.
