Come out to the Nisqually Land Trust’s Mashel River protected area for a morning of blackberry removal! By removing this invasive plant, we can help the native species planted here to thrive and grow up to be the forest they’re destined to be.
This beautiful site alongside the Mashel River protects important Chinook salmon and steelhead trout habitat. It also includes portions of the Van Eaton homestead, thanks to descendants of Eatonville’s founder. Please RSVP for directions!
