Are you interested in becoming a Habitat Steward in your community who creates areas for wildlife? The Habitat Stewards Training empowers volunteers to help individuals in Thurston County create, preserve, and restore wildlife habitat.
A 30-hour volunteer commitment within a year after the training is required. We will provide coffee, tea, and snacks at each training session – you are welcome to bring a brown bag dinner. Registration closes on April 4, 2016.
Presentations from NWF staff and local environmental educators during the training will include, but are not limited to the following topics:

• Pollinators
• Native Plant Gardening
• Sustainable Gardening Practices
• Climate Change
• NW Ecology
• Noxious Weeds
• Gardening for Wildlife
• Habitat Restoration
