Military family students with access to Joint Base Lewis-McChord are invited to attend the free seminar “Navigating the College Applications Process,” presented by local Higher Education Consultant, Jessica Roberts. SKIES Unlimited is hosting the seminar.
Roberts runs Aim High Writing College Consulting, and will be speaking about:
- Conducting school and scholarship searches with online databases
- Applying for financial aid (FAFSA) and understanding your offer
- Finding alternative sources of funding
- Writing the competitive applications essay
- Being strategic with your applications
Students ages 13 to 19, as well as their parents, are welcome to come learn more about designing and implementing a plan for their college applications.
