As The Evergreen State College delves deeper into the topics of diversity and equity in education and community, the college’s Library has scheduled Seattle University Law Professor, Dean Spade to speak April 20, 5:30-7:00 in the Communications Building Recital Hall. The title of the talk is “Critical Trans Politics and the Limits of Law.”

Spade is an internationally prominent scholar/activist with publications and media projects on intersectional analyses, and specifically on the systemic violence directed at trans people of color within contexts of state security and incarceration.http://www.deanspade.net/
