Community Youth Services Foster Care Program will be sponsoring a FREE event.  If you’ve EVER thought about helping a foster child in any way, shape or form, this is a great opportunity to learn more about how the foster care system works, how you can help and why foster care families are currently in high demand.

The evening consists of information and fun events that will explore the different ways you might be able to help.  For example, your business or church may be able to donate use of a room, or your family could provide occasional respite care, or maybe you are curious about what being a foster parent might be like? Answers to all those questions – plus some great raffle prizes every 15 minutes from businesses such as Wind Up Here, Fish Tale Ale, The Painted Plate and more – will be available during the two hour event.

Organizers request you email beforehand to get free tickets, so supplies and staffing are well organized. Register free at FosterCare@CommunityYouthServices.org or call 360-943-0780.  If you can’t make it but are still interested in learning more about the Therapeutic Foster Care Program at CYS, please use the contact information mentioned.
