Earth Economics Event

Dave is the founder of Earth Economics – an independent, non-partisan non-profit dedicated to researching and applying the economic solutions of tomorrow, today. Since 1998, Earth Economics has been providing robust, science-based, ecologically sound economic analysis, policy recommendations and tools to positively transform regional, national and international economics, and asset accounting systems.

Dave will talk about Innovative ways of valuing the Thurston Region’s natural resources. He will discuss the Thurston County Rapid Ecosystem Service Valuation (ESV), including information on connections between existing ecosystems and the regional economy and quantifying the economic value of ecosystem goods and services produced in Thurston County.
