Join the Olympia Democratic Socialists of America on Friday October 9th at 6pm, for an online panel discussion between local organizers representing a range of opinions on how socialists should address the presidential election. Does defeating Trump require all hands on deck? Should we invest ourselves in down ballot candidates with serious critiques of capitalism? Or should we focus on building power outside electoral channels to fight regardless of who wins?
Our panelists are local DSA members Mary Ellen Biggerstaff (Medicare for All organizer and former State House candidate), Paul Knox (housing and tenants rights organizer) and Josh Weir (rank-and-file labor organizer).
