Olympia Timberland Library presents Dig Into Reading: Summer Program Kick-Off, with Nikki McClure and Pacific Science Center’s Rock and Roll, 1-4 p.m., June 22 for all ages. Join in an afternoon of activities for the whole family. The fun begins in the library atrium at 1 p.m. with an interactive science show about earthquakes, volcanoes, rocks, and fossils in the Northwest, presented by the Pacific Science Center. At a special story time program at 3 p.m., Nikki McClure will share her new book, “How to Be a Cat,” and talk a bit about what it’s like to be an artist. Sign up for Summer Reading, visit activity booths, create do-it-yourself crafts, and more. This event is part of Summer Reading, a Timberland Regional Library districtwide program.
