A Winter Meal with Chef Laurel Kahn owner and chef of Mackinaw’s Restaurant in Chehalis, WA.
Chef Laurel attended the Western Culinary Institute in Portland and after many years in the restaurant business, opened Mackinaw’s, a very well-loved restaurant in downtown Chehalis. This evening she’ll teach a lovely menu that is satisfyingly appropriate for the winter season, starting with Cheese and Ale Fondue, Roasted Cauliflower and Leek Soup and Mixed Greens with her signature Citrus Vinaigrette. Parmesan Crusted Halibut Cheeks with Celery Root Puree and Roasted Root Vegetables is the main event and a luscious Coconut Custard Pie tops it all off!
