We each have some affinity for our furry four legged friends, but we don’t often think about other animals like insects or sea creatures. Animals experience many special sufferings. They often live in constant fear, greatly lacking mental freedom, and unfortunately humans exploit them by the millions. In this talk we will explore the methods by which we can deepen our compassion for animals, expanding that compassion to further our spiritual awareness and development. Join us for a half-day workshop learning about the Buddhist perspective on how we should treat animals.
