Center for Natural Lands Management Second Saturday Work Party

Join us for our Second Saturday work party! We’ll be heading out from 11:30 – 3:00 to collect wild camas seeds, along with any other seeds that might be ripe, at Glacial Heritage Preserve (15018 Mima Rd SW, Olympia, WA 98512). This is a great chance to enjoy some beautiful summer weather, learn about or brush up on your native plant identification skills, and explore some lands that usually aren’t open to the public.

We’ll have carpooling available to the work party from Shotwell’s Landing Nursery (14447 Littlerock Rd, Rochester WA, 98579), where we’ll be holding our Second Saturday lecture before the work party from 10:00-11:00.

Please bring plenty of water and a packed lunch, and be prepared to be outdoors for a while. Feel free to contact ssvolunteers@cnlm.org for directions, questions, or more information. We hope to see you all there!
