The Theory of Relativity
Music and Lyrics by Neil Bartram; Book by Brian Hill
In seemingly unrelated solos, duets, monologues, and scenes, we explore our interconnectedness. Whether we laugh at Jenny and Sarah’s struggle through friendship, relate to Julie’s love of cats, or tear up as we hear Mira’s story; we know that we are all on this “marble that hurtles through space” together. This contemporary musical explores the challenges faced as we move from adolescence to adulthood and the value of all our relationships. Some mature themes are present; therefore, this musical is rated PG-13.
The show runs May 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, and 11*. *ASL interpreted performance held on May 11th, special seating available for Deaf patrons. All performances start at 7:30 p.m. and will be held in the Performing Arts Auditorium at Capital High School, 2707 Conger Ave N.W., Olympia. Tickets are $8 for students and senior citizens and $10 for the general public. You can order tickets online at Purplepass.com, purchase tickets at our ASB office, or call the box office at (360) 596-8053 for more information.
