Artist, writer and teacher Anatha Attar will discuss and read from her first book, Bones, Blessings and Miracles: Reflections on Living the Creative Purposeful Life, at the Olympia Timberland Library, Tuesday, September 15 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

A practicing life coach with a Master of Arts degree in counseling, Attar says her art is of a spiritual nature, encompassing icons from both Christian and Buddhist traditions, and works of magical realism such as her painted deck of Tarot cards. She teaches and leads workshops in the Olympia area and is currently writing a workbook that will accompany Bones, Blessings and Miracles.
