Better Beauty Knowledge: Be Your Beautiful, Safely

This month Lara Ramsey will be presenting for us on clean skin care & cosmetics!

Your body’s largest organ is your skin, but that’s just the surface of the issue. There are more than 80,000 chemicals on the market today, and many don’t have any safety data. This is particularly true of those used in the skin care and beauty industry. What’s worse is that the FDA (which regulates US cosmetics) allows companies to use chemicals known to be extremely harmful in the very products we’re putting on our bodies every day. So let’s get together and talk about how to detox your skin care and makeup and disrupt the traditional beauty industry a bit! In this workshop, I’ll provide lists of ingredients to watch out for, info about apps to help you do so, and lead you through a makeup tutorial that goes from a light and natural look to a night-out look. I’ll have high performance, zero-questionable-ingredients skincare and makeup products for you to sample, and everyone goes home with their own small set of samples!
