Ballet Northwest
On Saturday, September 20, Ballet Northwest will hold open auditions at the Johansen Olympia Dance Center for roles in the Company’s 30th Anniversary production of the Nutcracker. The auditions are open to the community – boys and girls, men and women. The only requirement is that dancers are eight-years-old by August 31.
2:30pm: Company auditions, ages 12 and up
4:00pm: The Nutcracker auditions, ages 8-10
5:30pm: The Nutcracker auditions, ages 11 and up

The Nutcracker cast averages two hundred dancers. Performances take place from December 12 through the 21st at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts located in downtown Olympia.
