Art of Empowerment

Join SafePlace in honoring Sexual Assault Awareness Month with an event called “Art of Empowerment” featuring a documentary screening and arts walk. The free event is on April 26th starting at 10 am at 521 Legion Way SE, Olympia, for all ages.

Additional description: We are accepting art of all mediums- painting, drawing, writing, sculpting, collages, written word, wood working, sewing, etc. to display during the event. The documentary (The Hunting Ground) may not be fit for young children, but we will leave that up to the discretion of guardians.
